Vikunja is a concept for an aluminium catamaran, which is suitable for canals and inland waters. Its 4m wide and 11 meters long, making it the ideal “weekend – getaway – boat” for 4 to 6 people. With a combination of an e-motor and petrol motor, the vikunja may go up to 25 knots.


Designers Tom Mudra und Hans-Tobias Schicktanz aimed at constructing a “Loft” that floats, which they believe to accomplish through the open design features. Integrated side doors as well as a panoramic view through a roof window should make it quite an enjoyable trip even if its raining outside…
